Kile will forever be on our hearts and all the precious memories of joy he shared with everyone he came in contact with. Join Tameka Raymond, Kile's Former School Centennial Place Elementary and a host of supporters as Tameka will be hosting the first annual Give Thanks 5k Run/Walk in Atlanta. Where?
Taking place at Chastain Park this Saturday, 100% of proceeds from the event will go toward the arts-focused organization’s workshops for acting, singing, dance, painting, illustration, music production, and digital media for children aged 10-17 years old.
The memory of 11-year-old Kile — who died after a jet ski accident last summer – lives on through Kile’s World, which was inspired by his passions for acting, producing/performing music, and creating abstract art and photography.
“The arts were extremely important to my son, Kile, so as we kickoff the holiday season, I’m inviting everyone to give back while burning off those extra Thanksgiving calories,” Tameka said. “In the process, you will be making a camper’s dream come true.”
See event details below and keep up with Kile’s World at kilesworldfoundation.org, @KilesWorld, and Kiles World Foundation on Facebook. The hashtag for the event is #MilesforKile.
